Neumann Elektrotechnik GmbH builds up on a tradition in development, manufacturing and assembly of electrical products reaching back until the year 1944.

Several generations of electrcians and electronics technicians were trained in the enterprise in this long period. In a changeable history (private enterprise in the GDR, nationalization in 1972, denationalization in 1990) the at times up to 80 employees produced a variety of products for mechanical engineering, plant construction, shipbuilding as well as the energy industry.

Defining products were series of electronic controls for textile engineering or also hot air color-remover as consumption goods for the GDR-market.

Over 2000 ships world wide were equipped with ship diesel remote controls from our enterprise.

Emergency generating sets represented another product in the company history.

For over 30 years we have developed, produced and sold portable high voltage test sets. Building up on this experience this product line represents our main buisiness field besides the manufacturing of switchgears in the future.

The new corporate centre is nearby the downtown of Chemnitz within the TLG trade and industry Park Wirkbau.
